Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
Author Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be typewritten double-spaced with margins on one side of white A4 paper, and 2 copies must be submitted. The maximum length of the Scientific Paper is 10 pages, and of Short Communications is 4 pages, including figures, tables and references. Special cases will be decided by the Editor.
- Manuscripts must be prepared following the order: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Introduction, Main Text, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Appendix, Addresses of all authors.
- Abstracts must give concise factual information about the objectives of the work, the methods used, the results obtained. A suitable length will not exceed 1/3 of a page. One copy of the abstract translated into Vietnamese is required.
- References must be listed following the order of documents cited in the text. References to published papers must include the author(s), the title of the paper, the Journal name, the volume, the year and number, the first and last page numbers. References to books, reports and theses must include the author(s), the title, date of publication, name of publisher and place of publication. References in languages other than English must be referred to by an English translation (with the original language indicated in parentheses).
- Illustrations and Tables must be provided with an original of the manuscript. Illustrations (photographs, graphs and drawings, …) are to be referred to as “Figure(s)”, the tables as “Table(s)” and should be numbered consecutively in the order to which they are referred.
- Mathematical symbols and formulae should be typed to avoid ambiguities. Equation numbers should appear in parentheses and be numbered consecutively. All equation numbers must appear on the right-hand side of the equation and should be referred to within the text.
- Authors of accepted papers must provide a copy on floppy disk to facilitate rapid processing of manuscripts.
- No responsibility is assumed by the Editorial Board for permission to publish the paper.
- Papers will be refused for publication if authors do not follow these Notes for contributors in preparing manuscripts.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- The text, if submitted to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., Articles), has had the authors' names removed. If an author is cited, "Author" and year are used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of author's name, paper title, etc. The author's name has also been removed from the document's Properties, which in Microsoft Word is found in the File menu.
